O Mankind, I congratulate you. At last peace reigns in the heart of man. At last greed is but a word whose meaning fades from our understanding. At last, we are whole. Brothers, there is a disease in the heart of man. Its symptom is hate. Its symptom is rage. Its symptom is greed. Its symptom is recklessness. The disease is unbridled desires. But Brothers, I congratulate you, for there is a cure for this disease. And you, as humanity, have embraced this cure: Islam. Now we are at peace with ourselves and human kind is one. Greed is gone. Hate, a memory. Indecency suppressed. We are The Creator’s conscience now*, and it is this conscience that guides** us to rate the Creator’s limits, for desirous content, all those things that might exceed the Creator’s permitted limits, again, are destroyed. Mankind, you have won. Against all odds, and your own desires. You, have, survived. (The Caliph’s speech to the whole of mankind of Earth who’ve embraced the cure of Islam [sometime in the future]).
*Islam (submission to the will of the Creator).
**Guidance based on the Creator’s revelation of the Qur’an and by extension the path of the Prophet Muhammad (saaw).
“Have you seen him who takes his desires for his god?” (Qur’an 25:43)
“But as for him who lived in awe of standing before their Sustainer, and held back his self from desires, Surely Paradise will be his (final) refuge.” (Qur’an 79:40-41)
